My first and foremost love and
priority is my family. I have been blessed with a
wonderful, adoring husband of 16 years and the two most beautiful and
amazing daughters whose innocence and whimsy gives me so much inspiration. We live in the shadows of the magnificent Colorado
mountains, where I am lucky to be able to work in my home studio.
- I have always adored anything that
looks like it has been cherished,
used, and well loved! This love for the things of yesteryear, comes
through in my art. I collect old holiday pieces and art supplies, incorporating these vintage finds into my work. Many hours go the
completion of each original design. Whether I am working in papier
mache or wool felt, I use many different colors
and layers of quality paints, dyes and antique stains to achieve the perfect
"patina" with vintage feel. I take my time diligently
creating each item so the end product is something that will bring you a smile.
- I love to figure out the true
personality of each piece; deciding on
just the right vintage accessory to hold, the perfect vintage sparkling
glitter, adding a "piece of the past". I truly put a
piece of myself into each item I design, offering something I am
confident is of high quality and worth collecting. You won't see
a bunch of pieces made every day as I take my time with every piece.
